About Us

Carmen Wyland was born in Camaguey, Cuba to a father that was verty interested in all matters metaphysical.  Shortly after her birth, he became interested in the works of Madame Blavatsky and the movement she sponsored called Theosophy. Thus Carmen began life immersed in an environment occupied with the big questions of life:  Why are we here? What is our work?  She inherited from her father the philosophical bent of mind, his inquistiveness, and his adventurous nature.

Her talents are many and varied:

With a talent for drawing and painting, she created the drawings that her father used in his presentations.  In this capacity, she learned about the human aura, the different bodies of man, etc.

Carmen graduated from the Normal School for Teachers at age 18 and taught Grammar School. Four years later, she graduated from the University Ignacio Agramonte in Cuba with a doctorate in Education and one in Phylosophy and Letters (Humanities).

She studied Accounting at UCLA and became a CPA, becoming a very proficient auditor and Tax Planner.

Her first exposure to Astrology in 1970 was love-at-first-sight, and she has been practicing ever since.  It began as a hobby, developed into a passion, and became the basis for her ownership of a Metaphysical bookstore in North Carolina.

She has studied and incorporated into her readings Western Astrology, Chinese and Japanese Astrology, Directional Astrology, Mayan and Aztec Astrology, and Vedic Astrology.

She has studied many Metaphysical systems, and is currently a student of Kabbalah, which she believes to be the source of all Metaphysical knowledge.
